This year's official theme is “Forging the 21st Century T&E Tools in an Era of Great Power Competition”. DOT&E's director, Nickolas Guertin, will deliver a keynote address on Sep. 28 at 9:15 a.m. Principal Deputy Director Dr. Raymond O'Toole will moderate a panel discussion with operational test agency commanders at 10:30 a.m. on Sep. 28, and will close out the symposium at 10:55 a.m. on Sep. 30. In addition, on Sep. 28 at 3:15 p.m., DOT&E's Dr. Sandra Hobson, Deputy Director for Strategic Initiatives, Policy and Emerging Technologies, will participate in a panel discussion on artificial intelligence and machine learning (how to test trustworthiness and human-system integration). Also at 3:15 p.m. on Sep. 28, DOT&E Science Advisor Dr. Jeremy Werner will moderate a panel discussion on the use of digital twins in test and evaluation.
